                      - USE OF DIVINING OR DOWSING RODS -

By

Although many people think that the divining process is limited to attempts to locate liquids (e.g. water) underground, or in other concealed locations, this approach to intuitive psychic detection is also capable of revealing the existence of any Astral, or other concealed, phenomenon, including unseen fields of energy being generated by a variety of Astral Manifestations and Beings. These include the Spirits and Souls of both the Living and the Departed, and of many types of non-human Entities. Lost or hidden objects can be located by the skilled dowser, including money and valuable objects such as jewelry and watches. The possibilities of divining are literally endless!

One may begin using the rods by simply holding one in each hand by the rotation sleeve as they are allowed to swing freely about. The balance position will quickly be found, after which the action of the rods becomes progressively more intuitive as they appear to “wander” about as though they are searching for something. In fact, the rods will be seeking out Astral Fields in their vicinity, as described in the previous paragraph.

After a generally brief interval of a few minutes, the rods will track onto something of interest by pointing consistently in the same direction, at which time they can be followed, as one is inclined, to the source of the field. This may very well be almost anything, but probably will be quite surprising! I occasionally perform divination for people, and on one such episode was dowsing the room with a pair of rods prior to the reading to acquire an indication of what subtle energy fields (e.g. Astral Fields) might be present. Such things are known to effect the outcome of a divination, and dowsing them out is a very useful procedure. As I dowsed, the rods kept pivoting back to the same location, pointing to a small bookshelf across the room. When I asked my client what the significance of that area might be, she thought a bit, and then relayed the revelation that she had called a friend of hers in another city for “protection” during the reading. The rods were pointing exactly and persistently at her author friend’s book on the shelf, detecting that friend’s Astral Field attempting to protect her during the reading! What a good friend indeed...

Different people have different dowsing affinities, tending to locate certain classes of phenomena over others. You will have to experiment with the rods for a while to discover what yours may be. It may be useful to “clean” your rods with a crystal or other spiritual object periodically, at your discretion. Enjoy your dowsing experience!
